CV Templates
Graduate/Placement CV
Two pages is the maximum length for a graduate/placement CV. This chronological or traditional CV is used to match your qualifications and work experience with the requirements for the job role.
Part Time CV for Student Jobs
One page is usually long enough for a part-time CV. It’s often a good idea to put your experience and transferable skills above your education as these may be more important to the employer.
Technical CV
This can be used to apply for roles in engineering, IT, computer science, forensic science and laboratory research etc.
Law CV
This can be used to apply for vacation schemes, training contracts and other legal roles.
Finance CV
The finance sector may require a 1-page CV. Here is an example of how to format your content succinctly into 1 page.
Academic CV
This can be used when applying for research and academic positions, including PhDs. They have a unique format and can extend up to 4 pages in length depending on your experience.
International Student CV
This is an example of an international business student’s CV showcasing local and overseas experience.
Skills CV
This type of CV focuses on transferable skills instead of work history. It can be useful for individuals with gaps in their work history and career changers.
