The Careers & Employability Service strives to build and strengthen relationships with employers, locally, nationally and internationally. We offer employers a wide variety of services to engage with our talented students.

Here’s how you can get involved;

Advertising Opportunities

Whatever the role, it's easy to recruit our talented students and graduates through our online vacancy service CareerLinc. You can use the Careers & Employability service to advertise:

  • Part time roles - ideal for students whilst they are studying
  • Placement positions - either summer or yearlong roles
  • Graduate positions - including immediate start vacancies for recent graduates and vacancies aimed at final year students who will graduate in the summer.

Featuring on our events programme, Employer Presentations give you a great platform to promote your company and opportunities, & recruitment processes. These are free of charge and we will advertise, promote and arrange all the logistics. Please get in touch to arrange a date.

Assessment Centres

The Lincoln Award is our employability framework designed to support students develop and learn how to demonstrate their employability skills. Find out more about the Lincoln Award below;Lincoln Award

Every student completing the award has to pass the “Assessment Centre Experience” which we provide with employer partners throughout the year. Providing the Assessment Centre Experience is a great way for employers to raise their profile on campus. Curriculum Delivery

Our Adviser team are involved in the delivery of Careers Education across all subject disciplines and are often involved in the design of programmes. We facilitate employer presentations for specific subjects within the curriculum. Get in touch for more information.

Online Mentoring

Through our online system, Lincoln Connect you can provide valuable support to students at your own pace. You set the parameters and we support you to give back and build relationships. For more details click below; Lincoln Connect

Find Your Feet Fair

Our annual Careers Fair attracts local, national and international graduate recruiters, attracting students from across all disciplines. The fair is free of charge with sponsorship packages available. To see more, click the link below; Find Your Feet Fair

Competitions & Projects

We can facilitate student competitions and projects. This is a flexible option and we can work with you to tailor the activity. A number of our courses also seek ‘real world’ projects for students to work on as a component of their degree studies. Get in touch for more information.


We can arrange student visits to your premises to both raise awareness of your opportunities and organisation.
