Connect with our students and academics across all degree subjects. Employers & alumni can share their journey, offer insights, and shape student learning through teaching sessions and mentoring. There is an opportunity within all our undergraduate programme subjects to co-deliver a face-to-face 45-minute careers-based lecture through our university-wide careers programme ‘Futures’. The sessions are a great way to raise your profile and engage with a large number of students navigating their career options. Specific dates will be released in the summer, but you can register your expressions of interest. Industry-led Futures lecture dates for all programmes have now been timetabled for the academic year 25/26. However, please contact the Employer Engagement team if you are interested in participating in the next academic year. We still have slots left for industry-led Futures lecture dates for the academic year 26/27. What to expect from the session
Employer led session
As an employer, you will have the opportunity to outline your organisation, any vacancies you may have and the recruitment process. Students will have the chance to pose questions about recruitment processes and applications, or ways they can gain confidence in their applications/interviews. We will also encourage students to connect with you on LinkedIn to encourage networking and developing commercial awareness.
