Lincoln Award Employer Projects
Our Lincoln Award Employer Projects pathway offers students the opportunity to work on a real project brief set by a client, which could be an employer, organisation, or academic institution. You will work in a group of 6-8 students from various courses, gaining valuable work experience and demonstrating to future employers your ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, which is highly sought after.
Throughout the project time, we will support you to deliver your project objectives and develop your employability skills through skills sessions covering Project Planning, Understanding Behaviours and Communicating Effectively, and Presenting with Impact and Confidence, along with weekly checkpoint meetings with our Employer Project team. At the end of the project, you and your group will present your findings to your client and receive feedback. Participating in the projects will help you to develop, evidence and communicate the key transferable skills that all employers are looking for!
You must be available for the following dates

Recommended Activity
Following this activity, we recommend you add some Skill Statements (within the ‘Skills’ section on CareerLinc). This will be particularly useful for your personal development and for reflection in the future when preparing for any recruitment process. If you feel somewhat confident in a particular skill, you add a skill statement with some information about where you have developed it…
An example might be the teamwork skills you developed from a part-time job or the leadership skills you acquired from a position on a committee or sports team.
