This is event is taking place as part of Unlocking Potential, a week of exclusive access to workshops and development for students who are less represented at university.
In this workshop you will find out that your nerves can be managed and need not overwhelm you. Through some simple guided exercises you will learn to have more presence and feel self-confident when speaking.
You will learn how to:
- Present with increased confidence
- control your breath and manage nerves
- Slow your pace
- Increase your personal presence
Louise Kerr is the founder of Resonance Voice Training with an MA Voice from Central School of Speech and Drama.
Resonance clients include Durham University, GCHQ and Morrisons Head Office. Louise worked as an actor for many years in repertory, the West End and for the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company and now runs one of the longest established voice training companies in the UK.
