Vision impairment

- RNIB Living with sight loss have resources to help you find employment or stay in your current job after a sight loss diagnosis.
Mental Health

Neurodivergence (including ADHD, Autism & Dyslexia)
- ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia are some of the neurodiverse conditions which fall within the spectrum of “Neurodiversity”.

- Exceptional Individuals are an organisation run by neurodivergent individuals who provide expert services to neurodivergent people who are looking to develop themselves, need help finding jobs, or would benefit from in-work support.

- British Dyslexia Association has a specific section of their website geared to applying for work.
- ADHD-UK is a site for and by adults with ADHD and has a dedicated section to workplace issues. See advice about Neurodivergency below from Exceptional Individuals.
- The National Autistic Society includes useful resources on looking for work as well as guides for employers.
- Free Course: Employability skills for autistic students and graduates-Why not try this free online course designed in collaboration with autistic students, for autistic university students and graduates? It will help you to plan your career path, build your confidence in asking for reasonable adjustments, and prepare you for interviews. Develop your employability skills now! Completion of this course also counts as 5 points towards the Lincoln Award.

- Deaf Unity offer employment support for the deaf and hard of hearing.
RNID
- Signpost to the JobCentre Plus service for advice on finding a role and rights to employment for deaf individuals.
- Communication support – this page has support listed aside from BSL including speech to text reports and notetakers.
National deaf children’s society (over 18’s section)
- Work and careers page – includes information on finding and applying for a role as well as workplace support.
- Jobs for deaf individuals – this page includes information on reasonable adjustments and the ability for deaf individuals to go into a variety of roles (also includes roles where they would be unable to work due to medical requirements).
