The BSA, British Sociological Society's website is a great source of information on latest events, opportunities and resources as well as having a vacancies board where you can search for employment opportunities. You can also follow them on Twitter.

If you are looking for a graduate scheme into policing, take a look at Police Now.

Police Now's mission is to transform communities, reduce crime and increase the public's confidence in policing by recruiting and developing a diverse group of individuals to be leaders in society and on the policing frontline.

Their two-year national programmes train outstanding graduates to become police officers and detectives working in partnership to transform communities.

Top Tip: Do some research into the various initiatives Police Now are involved in, such as The Policing Education Qualifications Framework (PEQF) Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP).

The RAF recruit to a variety of roles within their RAF Policing function. As well as generalist policing recruits, they also recruit and train for a number of different specialist areas such as aviation security, counter intelligence, protective security, military working dogs and information & cyber security. Their website provides further information into roles and the recruitment process.
