DESCRIPTION:The session will focus on ensuring that as a neurodivergent or disabled student\, you are given the adjustments you need for an equal playing field during the recruitment process\, in order to maximise your chances of success. It will take into account consideration CV writing and the early stages of the application process\, as well as interviews and assessment centres. This session will look at when\, why and how you can ask for adjustments\, and provide practical tips to do this in a way that benefits you. It will include an overview of the Equality Act\, the employer’s duty to provide adjustments\, and what constitutes a ‘reasonable’ adjustment.
