Teaching and Education Industry Week- Teach STEM panel event
February 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Are you interested in training to become a teacher in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)? If so, you are invited to attend our Panel and Networking event to hear from a variety of speakers including representatives from our local teacher training providers (St George’s Academy Partnership and the Lincolnshire Teaching School Alliance); an alternative teaching route – Teach First; the Department for Education; and the Future Teachers Programme (offering work experience for graduates). We will also be joined by current trainee teachers and NQTs, as well as experienced teaching staff. Our experts will be able to answer your questions on whether teaching is for you, where to undertake your teacher training, how to apply, what funding is available, and more! We’ll have a Q&A with the panel followed by informal networking with information stands. We will also be promoting our new Lincoln Award Teacher Training and be able to tell you more about the Award.
