NFTS: Creative Careers Clinic – Cameras, Sound and Vision Mixing for Television

October 20 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

The National Film and Television School (NFTS) specialises in MA, Postgraduate Diploma and Diploma courses that offer students a great balance of practical and theoretical studies. This series of sessions offers students insight into how they can establish a career in the film, television or games industry after their degree, how their skills are adaptable and what potential career pathways are available to them.

This session will discuss the career paths in live multi-camera television production. Learn about the core skills needed as a Camera Operator, hear about the live visual effects needed during a live production and how to mic and mix sound for genres including music, drama and sport.

This event is of particular interest to Design, Film and Television Studies, Film Production, Journalism, Media Production and Sound and Music Production students.
