See the Events Calendar below for both internal and external events relating to Careers and Employability.

The Careers Clinic drop in runs Monday- Friday, 1pm-4pm for quick enquiries such as a CV check, advice on personal statements, job applications or job search. If travelling to visit us, please give us a quick call to double check that its running.

The team run a number of group advice sessions, including CV advice, interviews, teaching training sessions and many more. Employer sessions that the team run also give you the opportunity to find out more about real life applications, job roles and companies.

National Citizen Service Drop-In

EBP are coming in to talk to you about their NCS Summer program and the roles that are available to you through this! A basic overview of what is on offer is written below, but if you wish to know more, make sure to visit the careers centre between 11am - 1pm where they will have a stand to give you more information. Alternatively, if you definitely wish to know more and would like a longer discussion, visit them during their drop-in time between 1pm - 2pm inside the careers centre.

4 Week Temporary Summer Roles – Salary £1,500. Roles available starting in June and July.

 

Are you looking for work over the school holidays? Are you looking for a challenge that utilises your key skills of leading a team of Young People during their participation in a life-changing experience?

 

National Citizen Service (NCS) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 16 and 17 year olds, helping young people build skills for work and life, whilst taking on new challenges and meeting new friends.

We are now recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us for our Summer NCS programme to work with Young people taking part in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire & Northamptonshire.

As an NCS Mentor you will attend a 2 week residential event (Monday-Friday) plus 2 following weeks facilitating the successful delivery of localised Social Action Projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience of volunteering and working with Young People.
