Coaching for Creatives – Graduate Support Week

Suitable for final year students who are now considering freelance work in the creative industries.

Mind A Part is an award winning performing arts company who use creative approaches to help you tackle the challenges of the creative industry. From concerns about coping with uncertainty, rejection to the nitty gritty of completing a tax return and pricing your art, design or acting.

The full day will be split into two parts. In the morning we will use creative and practical activities to explore what barriers you might face as you go into the creative professional field, and how you can build resilience to make sure you succeed.

The afternoon will offer you an insight into how you can be a creative professional in your field with practical freelancer and employment tips of things you need to know when entering the creativity industry. There will be an opportunity for questions you might have around any of the issues we explore throughout the day.

There will be a small amount of practical work (nothing scary, intense or demanding though), so please wear clothing you are comfortable in.
