Vacancy Description:

As an Operations Executive, you will be part of the operations team, and be involved in the day-to-day aspects of the RealWire service. This will include editorial review of submitted press releases prior to distribution, advising and helping clients, and performing monitoring of coverage. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with the “receivers” of RealWire content including publishers, journalists and bloggers, and performing analysis on the news websites and blogs RealWire reaches in order to help “senders” of news to understand the impact they have achieved.

The role is initially for one year whilst the Operations Manager is on maternity leave. This will be reviewed and may lead to a more permanent position.


Person Requirements:

A successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and possess a keen eye for detail. RealWire carries out all work to a high standard, and a strong desire to meet these standards is essential. Candidates must have good IT skills, and a thorough knowledge of the online media landscape, including social media, is preferable.

Public Relations related qualifications and/or experience are preferable, but not essential. Web design/content skills would also be beneficial, but are not essential.


No. of hours per week: 40 hours


Salary: £16,000 dependent on experience
