Working in Film and Television Lecture with Chris Packham
April 23 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
An unmissable opportunity to get expert advice from Chris Packham, Visiting Lecturer and TV Presenter about working in the TV Industry. His lecture will include his experiences about being a TV Presenter and an insight in to what it is like to work behind the scenes in the industry.
Chris Packham is one of Britain’s best-known conservationists, recognised as one of the presenters of the BBC’s Springwatch series and with a broadcasting career spanning almost 30 years in which he has presented popular and award-winning wildlife programmes including The Really Wild Show, Springwatch and Secrets of our Living Planet. However, more recently Chris Packham was part of a more personal documentary, “Aspergers and Me” which gave a small insight into his life and how being diagnosed in his forties affected his life. Confronting this deeply personal subject with brutal honesty, and reflecting on the devastating struggles of his adolescence, Chris is acutely aware of how Asperger's has helped make him who he is today and how it impacts him in everyday life in the TV Industry.
This is a must attend event for anyone interested in a career in the Media Industry, be it Television, Radio, Film or Photography. Chris's vast experience must not be missed.
