January 29 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Are you interested in a Career in HR?

We have an HR consultant visiting campus to deliver a 1 day workshop which aims to help you stand out from other graduates looking for similar positions in HR.

The workshop will introduce you to key best practice HR policies and Procedures such as;

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Disciplinary
  • Grievance
  • Bullying and Harassment
  • Equality
  • Redundancy
  • Family Friendly Policies

The workshop will be positioned as “Keeping out of Court” – focusing on the life cycle of 2 employees from recruitment stage through to being made redundant (and experiencing a number of HR related ‘issues’ along the way). The workshop will demonstrate how, at each stage, the employer must act and apply the appropriate policy in order to treat the employees fairly and equitably in order to keep themselves out of an employment tribunal.

There are 20 places available.

BOOKING DETAILS:  Please visit the Careers & Employability Centre (Library, ground floor) to pay a £5 booking deposit (this is a refundable deposit and will be returned to you on attendance).
