How to get a job with Branston Ltd

February 13 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

“Fresh potatoes, seed potatoes, peeled and prepared potatoes… we handle around 350,000 tonnes of potatoes a year so we like to think we know a thing or two about them!

In fact, our expertise is unrivalled, and it's why our retail, wholesale and foodservice customers put their trust in us. Whether we’re growing our own potatoes or partnering with some of the country’s best growers, we deliver exceptional products, on time, every time.

But our expertise goes much further than supply and demand. We offer our customers real innovation, whether developing new potato varieties, packaging solutions or cutting-edge processes. And it’s not just fresh potatoes. We're also continually developing our great range of innovative, ready-to-cook prepared vegetables.

Whatever we do, we aim to do the best for our growers, our customers and for the environment we depend on for our products. It's about a healthy future for us all.

We are offering yearlong placements to a range of students in a variety of different departments with our company. We are looking for students interested in working for a local company to gain an insight into what we do. The placement will allow you to develop skills, knowledge and experience in a large and growing organisation.

We have 12 month placement opportunities in up to two of the following functions: Manufacturing/Operations, Procurement, New Product Development, Technical, Agronomy, Health & Safety, Human Resources/Training, Sales & Marketing.

Due to the variety of departments in which we can offer a placement we will be looking for enthusiastic students from courses across the university, in particular computer science, business and life sciences but we will accept all disciplines"

*In this session we will discuss the business as a whole and the placements available with the chance to ask questions at the end. Come along to get tips on how to apply for a placement with us!*
