Positive Comedy: Delivering Presentations with Impact

February 19 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Presentation skills is a core attribute that almost all employers will value in a graduate. Delivering information and communicating with a wide range of audiences can be nerve-wracking, but professional comedian Gerry Thompson will share his tricks of the trade to enable your communication skills and personality to work in your favour.

From Monday 11th February to Friday 22nd February, the Careers and Employability team will be running a series of interactive workshops designed to tackle uncertainty about the future. Searching for graduate careers can be daunting, and times you may feel overwhelmed by so many choices. However, each workshop over the course of the programme is designed to help with one particular area of employability: from personal confidence, to business acumen. The workshops can also be counted towards completion of the Lincoln Award. Students who participate in three or more ‘Breaking Barriers’ workshops will receive a signed certificate and be entered into a prize draw for a £50 amazon voucher! For more information on each session, come into the Careers Centre or email Natalie Poole, npoole@lincoln.ac.uk
